I had a great experience at Kia Smithtown from start to finish. Austin was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and made the whole process very seamless. He even turned in my old plates to save us a trip to the DMV. My 11 year old loved him and he kept him engaged and interested during what can be pretty boring for a kid. The day we picked up the car Austin was very helpful and instructive in going over all the new features and how to operate the tech. Marty made the paperwork process thorough without wasting our time, it felt very streamlined and all ready to go when we got there . I love my 2027 kia telluride hybrid. It has already been upstate and all over the island transporting kids and sports equipment . The cargo space is good for a 3rd row and I was able to transport me + 5 11 year old athletes with their baseball gear - 5 big back packs and 10 bats. The kids loved the wireless CarPlay . Overall great experience and will definitely use Kia Smithtown in the future !

All the people I dealt with from my salesman Andrew Wiedersum to the manager of the dealership and the gentleman Nelson who handled the financials at the end were top notch. Very accommodating and easy to deal with. I would absolutely recommend this dealership. You really can’t go wrong.

Just picked up my car 2 days ago. I should have come here first! We went to a different dealership prior to Smithtown Kia and dealt with a very pushy salesman that tried to get me to buy a car I really wouldn't have been happy with. We left there and met Austin at Smithtown who was great from start to finish. Relaxed, non pushy, listened and heard what I wanted. Everything went very smooth! We leased a 2026 Sportage Hybrid X Line Prestige, I returned the 2023 Sportage of the same but the plug in model. I wasn’t sure which car to choose so we got the chance to drive a few cars before I made my decision. I love Sportage model and all the features it offers, it’s just the right size - not too big - not too small. The newer model has an updated look and more features than the 2026. Great car for the value! Thank you to Austin for a great experience from the moment we walked in….especially when I got to drive the golf cart. :)

Our salesman Gerard Rennie was extremely professional and very knowledgeable about the different autos we were looking to buy.. Gerard took his time to take us on a road test with several different autos to narrow down our selection.. We were looking to save on gas so he showed us the hybrid model.. We believe we bought the sportage hybrid prestige because of the way he explained the auto and his over the top friendliness.. He also helped making the buying process very easy.. We have had our new car for about a week now and we totally are impressed with the way it rides, looks and are getting comfortable with the new technology in the auto.. We are hoping this will not be the last car we buy from Kia..

Dale Cha was our salesman who went above and beyond to help us lock in our car that we chose. He was nice and attentive, able to get us that test drive, offered us coffee, informed us how to remote start the car and stop it as well. Dale knows his cars and is a great salesman too! Many appointment at kia i told the person at the counter and on the phone that I cannot unlock the doors from the passenger door and the response i get ,Check OK. We'll it's not ok.

Thanks to their insulting behavior in regards to our trade in , we got up and walk out of this dealership and went to generation Kia in Bohemia instead where they were more than accommodating and easy to work with and had exactly what we were looking for without lying about what the was available in the carnival. So glad we walked out on Smithtown and went to Bohemia locations where we left with our new 2026 Kia carnival in less time then we wasted at Smithtown location DO NOT recommend smithtown unless your looking for a rude cocky salesman that laughs in your face insults your trade in like it’s a worthless piece of garbage telling us “have you see your car ? “ yes we have and it’s not worthless obviously … we traded at generation Kia with a stress free enjoyable experience start to finish and they had our car pulled up ready to go with when we got there. When we opened the white carnival with all black interior we also discovered that Smithtown lied about the carnival not being available with all black interior I said all your cars in showroom have black interior but the carnival doesn’t ? And he was like unless you want to get a different car. Told us the carnival only came in two tone seats orange black grey with navy blue or black and taupe which they didn’t even have in stock and couldn’t even get from another location for us just said the carnival didn’t come like that , and yet we opened the carnival up at Bohemia and behold all black interior exists and that’s what we went home with. We never even made it into talking numbers bc it stopped when they were unwilling to work with the trade in value , which Generation Kia was able to up the offer on our trade and make the deal happen. Smithtown is obviously too good for business in middle of week with almost 15 salesmen and no customers other than service customers sitting around it’s amazing they just let a deal walk out the door . But good for us we ended up in a better place With better people. If you’re looking for an amazing experience. Go to generation Kia in Bohemia and meet with Mansa Murray he was the very best and I’m so glad we had the pleasure to work with him and turn our day around.
