We recently purchased a 2026 Kia Carnival from Smithtown Kia, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. Our salesperson, Austin, was an absolute delight to work with. He was professional, kind, patient, and incredibly respectful of our time. Unlike many other car-buying experiences, there was no endless “let me check with my manager” disappearing act, no high-pressure sales tactics, and no wasted hours sitting around the dealership. Smithtown Kia presented options in a clear and meaningful way, but never made us feel pressured to take action. We received the vehicle at the advertised deal, had an informative test drive where Austin took the time to showcase the Carnival’s safety features, and had pleasant, honest conversations about financing and warranty options. When we declined items that we did not feel had the right return on investment for our family, our “no” was accepted without follow-up pressure. That alone made the experience feel respectful and refreshing. We also worked collaboratively on our trade-in value. As a consumer, you always hope for the highest number possible, but in the end, I believe we reached a fair agreement based on neighboring offers from CarMax and Carvana. I left the dealership feeling happy with the purchase price, trade-in value, extended warranty price, and most importantly, our amazing new minivan. Austin was especially fantastic on pickup day. He sat with us in the vehicle and took the time to walk us through the technology, features, and settings. He answered every question with patience, kindness, and empathy. He was not the stereotypical “car salesman.” He was a true Kia professional who listened to our needs, understood our concerns, showcased the vehicle beautifully, and worked with us toward a fair deal. Another major plus was the communication. Austin handled much of the DMV and insurance paperwork while keeping us updated by text, instead of making us sit in the dealership unnecessarily. In fact, Austin only disappeared once to “talk to the manager,” and he was back in under five minutes! Working with Smithtown Kia was a home run. We got an amazing 2026 Kia Carnival, the process was faster and smoother than expected, the vehicle was beautifully presented, and there was very little pressure to purchase upgrades or services. From first stepping onto the lot to driving away in our new Carnival with our trade-in complete, the entire process took about 30 hours total, with only a few hours actually spent at the dealership, including the test drive, paperwork, financing, and technology training. Thank you to Austin and Smithtown Kia for making this such a positive, respectful, and efficient car-buying experience. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience at Kia Smithtown from start to finish. Austin was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and made the whole process very seamless. He even turned in my old plates to save us a trip to the DMV. My 11 year old loved him and he kept him engaged and interested during what can be pretty boring for a kid. The day we picked up the car Austin was very helpful and instructive in going over all the new features and how to operate the tech. Marty made the paperwork process thorough without wasting our time, it felt very streamlined and all ready to go when we got there . I love my 2027 kia telluride hybrid. It has already been upstate and all over the island transporting kids and sports equipment . The cargo space is good for a 3rd row and I was able to transport me + 5 11 year old athletes with their baseball gear - 5 big back packs and 10 bats. The kids loved the wireless CarPlay . Overall great experience and will definitely use Kia Smithtown in the future !

All the people I dealt with from my salesman Andrew Wiedersum to the manager of the dealership and the gentleman Nelson who handled the financials at the end were top notch. Very accommodating and easy to deal with. I would absolutely recommend this dealership. You really can’t go wrong.

Just picked up my car 2 days ago. I should have come here first! We went to a different dealership prior to Smithtown Kia and dealt with a very pushy salesman that tried to get me to buy a car I really wouldn't have been happy with. We left there and met Austin at Smithtown who was great from start to finish. Relaxed, non pushy, listened and heard what I wanted. Everything went very smooth! We leased a 2026 Sportage Hybrid X Line Prestige, I returned the 2023 Sportage of the same but the plug in model. I wasn’t sure which car to choose so we got the chance to drive a few cars before I made my decision. I love Sportage model and all the features it offers, it’s just the right size - not too big - not too small. The newer model has an updated look and more features than the 2026. Great car for the value! Thank you to Austin for a great experience from the moment we walked in….especially when I got to drive the golf cart. :)

Easiest car buying experience with Austin. They do not add any additional fees to their prices. Two complaints are 1. that the “detailers” clearly did not clean the inside of my car at all so I had to do it myself and 2. I was told that the warranty would be given to me for free but when we got to the finance person the warranty was not free.

Many appointment at kia i told the person at the counter and on the phone that I cannot unlock the doors from the passenger door and the response i get ,Check OK. We'll it's not ok.
